This is because the regulations require you to have atleast a 1000 people following you in order for you to be able to go live, and this means there ways that one would use to bypass this is neither legal, nor always working.
- Step 1: Open TikTok with the account logged in.
Use the account credentials that you would later use to go live.
- Step 2: Tap the three horizontal line menu in order to open your account settings.
The menu button is located on the top right side of the screen.
- Step 3: Scroll down and select ‘Report a problem‘.
- Step 4: Select ‘I can’t start a LIVE’.
You would find this option under the Popular section with a bunch of other common issues users face.
- Step 5: Select the ‘No‘ option when asked if the issue was resolved.
The dialogue tells the criteria for why a user cannot go live and how they should follow the Terms and Conditions as well as the Community guidelines.
