However, if you’re interested in knowing, there are a few things you can check that’ll give you all the information you need.

Methods To Know If Someone Passes You On OkCupid
Let’s look at different ways to figure out if someone passed your profile.
Method 1- Profile Doesn’t Show Up In Likes
If you liked someone, and you’re waiting for them to like you back, check back often to see if you matched.
However, if you check your ‘liked list’ and the person you were interested in doesn’t show up there, it’s possible they passed on you.
It might just be an app or website glitch, so you can try restarting the app or refreshing the webpage.
Sometimes it works, and their profile will show up again.
But if it doesn’t, then they’ve definitely hit pass on your profile.
If it was someone you were really interested in, you can check back later to see if they show up on your ‘Discover’ feed.
But it’ll probably be a long while before that happens.
It’s still an option, though.
Method 2- Profile Visibility
As mentioned above, you won’t get to know directly if someone passes your profile, but a lack of profile visibility is a good indication that they did.
Let me explain.
If you liked someone’s profile, they’ll show up in your ‘liked list’.
But if they pass on your profile, their profile will disappear from your list.
So if you can’t find them on your list and their profile doesn’t show up anymore on ‘Discover’, then it’s safe to say they passed your profile.
However, this doesn’t mean that their profile won’t show up again. That happens only if someone blocks you.
After a certain amount of time has passed, their profile can show up again on your ‘Discover’ and vice versa.
And who knows, maybe you’ll be a match this time around.
Method 3- Disappearing From Mutual Matches
When you like someone’s profile, and they like you back, you’re added to the matched section and can start a conversation.
But this doesn’t mean they can’t pass you after matching.
If someone passes on you after a match, their profile will disappear from the match list.
You’ll also disappear from their match list.
But, similar to ‘profile visibility’, you might still end up on each other’s ‘Discover’ page after a period of time.
For now, though, you won’t be coming across their profile for a while.
Method 4- Little To No Interaction
Let’s say you matched with someone and started a conversation with them.
However, after some time, there are no responses from them, and eventually, the chat disappears from your messages.
This is another indication that the other person probably passed your profile.
It can still show up later though as long as they haven’t blocked you.
In some cases, the other person might not pass your profile on OkCupid.
But if they’re no longer interested in conversing with you, they’ll probably ignore or silence your messages.
While this isn’t exactly passing you, it’s a pretty similar feeling, so it’s best to move on.
